"When I grow up..." As kids we say this a lot, but I don't think we ever really understood what that meant.
This past week I had to "grow up", I got a job working in the office of an mechanics shop, I am saving for a car to drive to my job, looking into getting my license, and I got a cell phone. All of these changes mean I am now an adult, I'm expected to act, talk and behave like an "grown up". Truth be told, I was terrified at the beginning of the week I didn't know how to do any of it! But some how by the grace of God, I was able to get through it, and now I have a little ( a very small amount of) confidence that I'm not going to screw up to terribly. Going to the week a friend told me "confidence will get you far" and that has stuck with me.
So when I am faced with the next "grown up" thing I have to accomplish I probably be jut as terrified but I will know that I got through the last one, and I will get through this one.
